• From Oct 29, to Nov 27, 2016, Civic Museum Della Torre of Treviglio  is hosting the fourth edition of the Art Prize "City of Treviglio", organized by the Municipality of Treviglio for the year 2016.
    The proposed subject for the participants of this edition is "Labyrinths without walls". It consists of two parts: the "City of Treviglio" Art Prize, by invitation, and the Young Talent Competition, reserved for under 35, by selection.
    For the fourth edition of the Prize, the ten invited artists are Anna Valeria Borsari (Bazzano, Bologna 1943), Amalia Del Ponte (Milan, 1936), Bruno Di Bello (Torre del Greco, 1938), Salvatore Falci (Portoferraio, Livorno, 1950) Giovanni Frangi (Milan, 1959), Marco Grimaldi (Udine, 1967), Gabriele Jardini (Gerenzano, Varese 1956), Andrea Mastrovito (Bergamo, 1978), Francesco Pedrini (Bergamo, 1973), Anne (nee Houllevigue; Marseille, 1942 ) and Patrick Poirier (Nantes, 1942).

    For the Young Talents' Competition, the jury selected thirteen artists: Byron Francisco Andrade Gago (Ecuador, 1994), Andrea Barzaghi (Monza, 1988), Pamela Breda (Vittorio Veneto, 1982), Calori & Maillard [Letizia Calori (Bologna, 1986) and Violette Maillard (Bourg-la-Reine, 1984)], Michele D'Agostino (Benevento, 1988), David Mancini Zanchi (Urbino 1986), Edoardo Manzoni (Crema, 1983), Saba Masoumian (Tehran, 1982), Elena Mazzi (Reggio Emilia, 1984), Claudia Ponzi (Padua, 1988), Stefano Serretta (Genoa, 1987), Giulia Spreafico (Lecco, 1990), Cosimo Veneziano (Moncalieri, 1983).

    It was announced that Saba Masoumian is the winner of Premio d’arte Città di Treviglio for her stop motion “Dry Ground Sea”, while San Paolo Invest award goes to David Mancini Zanchi while special mention for giovanissimo Edoardo Manzoni.
