“Dyslexia”, by Ghazel, has been participated at the Sovereign MENA Art Prize Auction.
The work has been among the top 30 Finalists of the very first Sovereign Middle East & North Africa (MENA) Art Prize.
The Sovereign Middle East and North Africa Art Prize aims to benefit mid-career artists by increasing their international profile and by providing income for short-listed finalists, while also raising funds for START; a non-profit organization running art therapy-based workshops for refugees and children with special needs across the MENA region.
In Oct 19, the closing day, Alfred Tarazi of Lebanon was named for Grand Prize Winner of the Sovereign Middle East & North Africa Art Prize for his blueprint, while the votes of the public was “Tea Whisper” by Mayasa Al Sowaidi.
