I Want to Go in the Aftafeh
(Their play children repeat everything that has made a great impression on them in real life, and that in doing so they abreact the strength of the impression and , as one might put it, make themselves master of the situation.)
Freud, “Beyond the pleasure principle”
Grownups play their childhood games in their real lives again and the joy of these games makes their lives more pleasant and long-lasting. Bliss of happiness, pleasure of sex, contentment of power and satisfaction of war have had tremendous effect on human life. This has been a vicious circle that resulted in constant satisfaction of the aforementioned. These effects, undoubtedly, are an ironical interpretation of grown ups’ pleasure of playing games.
