The horror of the death penalty carries much more than the fear of death. It is as if all of humanity have decided that one person is not worthy of remaining alive. Escorting someone to their grave and doing this as a group effort is a horrific idea. This is why an execution is the bitterest way to end a life | Putting aside the legal and humanitarian issues, as well as the accuracy or deviance of the final judgment, we have gathered to let those people who are on the verge of having their lives ended in such a barbaric way know that there are still others who believe that their lives are worth living and will do all in their power to allow them to go on living | At this time, with the various factors at our disposal, the collecting of Dieh is a viable solution, however not a great one. Yet it is one that has been used to stop the execution of a person by successfully negotiating to pay the Dieh to the families of the 'victims' | T.K. and A.T. are two examples of people who were marked for execution but were exonerated through the help of just a few strangers who were able to negotiate successfully with the families of those that had died because of their actions (for example an unfortunate tripping during a soccer match where the one boy died and the one nearest to him was awaiting execution) | 110 contemporary artists have donating their artwork to collect Dieh. We are now entering the second phase of this collection process and invite you all to join us.
