• “The space of an order is hidden in the order of space.” Henri Lefebvre

In one way or another, all works gathered in the exhibition problematize the notion of space as a simple matter-of-fact. To quote Lefebvre, space is presented here as a social ensemble that both embodies and conceals power relations. Some of these works aim to reveal one concealed aspect of space as it is presented, conceived and lived in today’s life; others try to suggest a new order within it. The concern of all works is to present how space is set and how it might be re-set in our society.
