• After two successful callings, the third edition of Drawing Room Madrid changes its location, increasing the number of galleries and artists and expanding its audience. It will take place from Wednesday 21st to Sunday 25th of February 2018 in the magnificent space of the Ball Room of the Círculo de Bellas Artes (Fine Arts Circle), happening to meet the most exciting week of contemporary art in the Spanish capital.
For five days, collectors, professionals and amateurs from the art world are invited to discover the contemporary artistic scene through the projects of a hundred national and international artists, invited by a curatorial committee formed by museum directors, curators and gallerists.
Here, the new generation of artists who have made drawing their privileged medium meets with the undeniable devotion for drawing of the great masters.

Presented to the fair by A01 GALLERY, Navid is an iconoclast who breaks with the symbols, traditions and preconceived views of Iranian culture. Breaking the mold of these symbols until they are transformed into a Western language is the engine of his work.
The skill with which he achieves this transformation turns his works into an effective complaint of an unjust reality. The beauty of his work is effective for the rotundity of the message. It is a combative, disruptive art; almost a graphic scream that resonates in our consciences.
Bachelor of painting by the University of Art and Architecture of Tehran and with a long curricular tour in Rome, where he resides, Navid Azimi manages to pierce his critical eye on the viewer.
