    ABOUT CULTURAL NARRATIVES
Mapping the Art World of the MENA region with an extensive travelling art show by established and emerging talents, Cultural Narratives is a foundation with big motivations set to small parameters. The collection started in 2015 commissioning artworks of 20*20cm in dimension, from Lebanese and Syrian artists. This was to be exhibited for the first time at the 2015 Beirut Art Fair. .
The success of the show led to the expansion of the collection and introduced the participation of most of Lebanon and Syria’s neighboring countries. Since then Cultural Narratives has collected more than 200 works from emerging talents and established artists. The aim is to stimulate the interest of regional and international audiences and inform the collective consciousness about the copious creative activity in the region as well as drawing attention to the dynamism existing amongst these neighboring countries. Cultural Narratives is a foundation that celebrates diversity and community equally.
The collection includes Artists from Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Lebanon Palestine, Tunisia, UAE, Syria, Sudan and has recently opened the channel for artists from Turkey, Africa and India. Most importantly, this project is a platform for free artistic expression. It is a strictly non-commercial project hence all art works are strictly exhibited for none-commercial purposes. The artists donating works benefit from media exposure in Selections Magazine and Selections online platforms. Moreover Cultural Narratives takes full responsibility of exhibiting the collection in numerous art institutions around the world. Each exhibition is accompanied with the latest Cultural Narratives edition: a catalogue comprising of all the artworks on display.
