“What Film?” is a game. The first ‘What Film’ exhibition was held in the Azad Art Gallery in Tehran in 2006. The concept for this exhibition came from Samira Eskandarfar who was inspired by Bertolucci’s 2003 film “The Dreamers” where the actors play a character or act out scenes from a famous film and the others are supposed to guess the name of the film, the actor and the scene. In this exhibition the fixed illustrations of each painting are the clues and the viewers are invited to play ‘What Film?’.
