Wait Until Darkness

The Same as Everyone
The Same as No One

When I lie in bed staring at the ceiling, instead of counting sheep I see well-dressed women from the films of my childhood walking back and forth. My youth was spent during the tumultuous years of the revolution and war, and the women around me faced these difficult times head on. These are photographs of these struggling women dressed in the attire of the movie-stars of the era of Iron and Speed who have earned the license to have a place in this world waiting for a point of view that will allow them to find a comfortable place in the minds of the audience.
