Dreamer

Moving or changing your position during a dream is different from what happens when you do this while awake | When awake, it is after a movement that the brain receives information from our eyes and then using this image comprehends our new position | During a dream this process is reversed | The brain first decides or suggests our position and location before the image takes form | If before opening a door, we think that behind the door there is a beach full of people, after opening the door, there will be a beach | In this collection, "Dreamer", each painting begins with a haphazardly drawn gray background, then through the process of painting endeavors to reconstruct and repeat the experience of dreaming | In this way, from a haphazard point to an image still undetermined, places begin to take form up until the time of awakening when the process of painting comes to an end.
