Pavilion
Pavilion
Pavilion , through introversion of traditional Iran, is the paradox of architecture of recent century and pretending to modern extroversion. Despite of nested spaces in buildings of its own era, Pavilion is extrovert, to be a place for rest, fun, pleasure, relaxation and peace. In Iranian miniatures, you can see such places which represents" A chalice in one hand and the other hand on the beloved hair" and also" A safe place with pure wine and intimate friend". The excitement of this poetic spirit which embraces the nature, puts the pavilion in the special position in Iranian culture. The open relationship with the surrounding landscape, takes away the privacy unlike Iranian houses.Blending of this extroversion with folk's culture masks its face as the years are passing by.
