Masoud MomenhaHaving Been There, Photography Project by Masoud Momenha
Eleven of Iranian photographers out of their country framed and photographed their selected locations in Iran through the virtual communication by looking at camera viewer. In spite of the photography tradition, that each piece of photography shows the presence and “Having been there” of the photographer, the physical presence of the photographer while photography has been suspended in the pictures of this exhibition. These photographers, without having been there, with a type of “Having-been-there” in their living, recorded the presence of “object-there”, and then displayed them with desirable editing. This project was first formed by my request from these photographers and it was subsequently executed based on their needs in their absence.
